Spicy Sweet Bacon Wrapped Pineapple Bites

Spicy Sweet Bacon Wrapped Pineapple Bites caramelized with brown sugar and hot sauce make a perfect sticky, sweet, spicy, fruity bacon bite your guest will love in just minutes!

Ingredients
 

  • 1 pound thick cut bacon , cut in half to make two shorter wide strips out of each slice
  • 1/2 pineapple , trimmed and cut into 1" chunks
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce (your favorite hot wing sauce would be great)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Cut bacon in half and wrap each strip around a piece of pineapple.
  • Roll in the brown sugar, packing on the sugar onto the ends.
  • Spoon over a small amount of hot wing sauce over each bundle.
  • If you want to help avoid a mess in the pan from the brown sugar line the pan with foil.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the bacon is crisp and the brown sugar is all bubbly.

  3. I love EVERYTHING bacon! On the Smithfield site, my favorite is the caramelized bourbon bacon. I would eat that by the pound. Honestly, one of my favorite ways to eat bacon is straight out of the skillet 🙂

    Of the recipes you’ve given in the bacon bar, it’s hard to narrow down, but i absolutely LOVE the brussel sprouts, and the Bacon twists are AMAZING!!!
