Ingredients

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 2 ounces chocolate liqueur
  • 2 ounces crème de cacao
  • 2 ounces heavy cream
  • 2 ounces dark chocolate , shaved

Instructions

  • To a cocktail shaker add the ice, vodka, chocolate liqueur, crème de cacao, and heavy cream.
  • Shake vigorously.
  • Wet the rims of two chilled cocktail glasses with simple syrup.
  • Dip the rims of two cocktail glasses with stems into the chopped chocolate.
  • Strain into two martini glasses.
  • Garnish with additional chocolate shavings.

Notes

For Large Batches: Instead of making individual cocktails, you can multiply the ingredients and make a large batch for a party. These measurements will make six martinis, but you can adjust that based on how many people you’re serving.
  1. Add 12 ounces vodka, 12 ounces chocolate liqueur, 12 ounces creme de cacao, and 12 ounces heavy cream to a large glass pitcher.
  2. Then use a spoon to stir the cocktail mixture well.
  3. Refrigerate for several hours until the Chocolate Martini mixture is well chilled.
  4. While you’re refrigerating the martini blend, you can also chill your cocktail glasses and prepare them with a chocolate rim.
  5. Take the pitcher from the fridge before serving, and stir the ingredients once more before pouring the cocktails.
