Sabrina’s Slow Cooker Bacon Wrapped Lil’ Smokies

Whether it’s a holiday bash, family get-together, or game day, hosting parties can be a lot of work! That’s why it’s so great to have go-to easy recipes that are low prep and sure to be a hit. All you have to do for this lil’ smokies recipe is wrap each of the mini sausages in bacon, place them in the crockpot, sprinkle with brown sugar, and cook. The slow cooker does the rest of the work and in about 4 hours you’ll have the perfect salty-sweet flavor combo with candied crispy bacon wrapped around mouthwatering sausages.

Ingredients
 

  • 13 ounces lil’ smokies
  • 1 pound bacon
  • 2 cups brown sugar

Instructions

  • Wrap each smokie in half a strip of bacon and pierce with toothpick.
  • Add the smokies to the slowcooker in an even layer and top with brown sugar, cooking on high for 4 hours.
