Sabrina’s Butter Burger Recipe

Adding butter to the patty mixture creates extra moisture and savory depth to burgers. This recipe creates a juicy, restaurant-style flavor with every bite. What makes this so popular is how it enhances both texture and taste. As it melts, it adds richness to the meat while also soaking slightly into the bun, making the burger feel more indulgent and satisfying. These homemade burgers taste more like something from a gourmet burger restaurant and the best part, it’s in the comfort of your own home!

Chef’s Note

Freezing or chilling the butter helps it stay firm so it melts slowly instead of instantly running off the burger. This gives the butter more time to coat the hot patty evenly, creating a richer flavor and juicier texture.

  1. Grating the frozen butter into the meat is such a brilliant tip! I’ve had Wisconsin-style butter burgers before, but making them this way at home made them so much juicier.

    1. It’s a simple, but integral tip. Thank you for the positive review, and enjoy those burgers!
