Juicy Steak Kabobs are sure to be a new favorite recipe. They’re easy to prepare by slicing your ingredients up, then allowing the marinade to soak in. Make this into a group activity, by letting everyone add each piece onto skewers in an order they want to personalize their meal.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter , melted
  • 5 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 pounds strip steak , cut 1" thick
  • 1 yellow squash , cut into 1/2" coins
  • 1 zucchini , cut into 1/2″ coins
  • 1 red bell pepper , cut into 1″ chunks

Instructions

  • Add honey, soy sauce, butter, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, oregano and crushed red pepper flakes in large ziplock bag.
  • Cut the steak into 1″ thick cubes.
  • Add the steak, zucchini, squash and bell pepper to the marinade and let marinate for 30 minutes.
  • While meat is marinating, add wooden skewers to a container with water and let them soak.
  • Heat your grill to medium heat.
  • If using a grill, skewer the food, alternating pieces on metal or soaked wooden skewers.
  • Grill the meat, 6-7 minutes per side, until the seared outside and cooked to medium doneness inside.
