Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter , melted
- 1 1/4 cups whole milk
- 1 large egg , beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup strawberries , thinly sliced
Instructions
- Sift the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar twice into a large bowl.
- In a medium bowl whisk together butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add in flour mixture and whisk until just combined.
- Stir in strawberries.
- Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Scoop ¼ cup batter onto lightly buttered griddle on medium heat and cook until bubbles form.
- Flip and cook for 20 seconds.
- Serve with maple syrup and more strawberries.
