Sabrina’s Pickled Jalapenos Recipe

Pickling is a process that uses an acidic (typically vinegar-based) mixture to soak foods. The acidity in the brine helps preserve vegetables and other types of food for longer. If you have a lot of fresh produce, it’s a great way to add flavor and keep it from spoiling. This recipe is the perfect way to add a complex, zingy taste to classic jalapenos. They’re still spicy, like you’d expect from fresh peppers, but they have the additional flavor of the pickle brine.
