Frequently Asked Questions

Where does the name come from?

With an extensive name that would include all the important ingredients in this recipe, it would just be too long to say or write over and over! Someone changed the name to reflect the messiness of eating, decadence of flavor, and ease of making this dessert. Creative writing at its best, or worst, depending on how you see it. Either way, that is why we call them Double Cookie Brownies at home.

Why does the cookie layer go on bottom, not the top?

If you’re really in the mood to switch it up, go for it! We like the density of the cookie layer being at the bottom, kind of like a solid foundation with even more good stuff piled on top!

What size baking dish is used for Slutty Brownies?

We are utilizing an 8×8 baking dish for this recipe.
