This Tropical Smoothie makes a wonderful treat for breakfast or for an afternoon snack. On top of that, restaurant smoothies often have added sugars. By making your own fruit smoothie, you’ll know exactly what’s going into the recipe. Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen mango chunks
- 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 1 frozen banana , very ripe (or 1 cup frozen banana slices)
- 1/2 cup whole fat coconut milk
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
Instructions
- To a high speed blender add the frozen mango, frozen pineapple, banana, coconut milk, orange juice and vanilla yogurt.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into 2 tall glasses and garnish the side of the glass with an orange slice, fresh pineapple wedge and stemmed maraschino cherry.
