Seafood, especially fish, is a delicious way to add a low calorie protein to any meal. With its natural oils, salmon formulates a buttery and rich flavor pleasing to the palate. Ingredients
- 4 salmon filets , 6 ounces each
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil , divided
- 1 lemon , cut into wedges
Instructions
- Season salmon with salt and black pepper
- Brush half the olive oil on the top and sides.
- Heat grill to high heat.
- Add salmon top side down, cook 2 minutes.
- Turn 90 degrees to make an x pattern and cook for 2 minutes.
- Flip, cook for 4 minutes.
- Brush with remaining olive oil and cook for 4 minutes on each side.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
